Cromwell Arts Alliance Poetry Event - May 2, 2026

Calling all writers and aspiring writers, eleven years or older, to submit their work and participate in our annual Poetry event.

We welcome all "family friendly" original poems, as our event is open to all ages. Poems should be less than 5 minutes long. Each writer can submit up to 3 poems.​ All submissions will be reviewed and subject to approval.

This year is Cromwell's 175th Birthday, we welcome entries that celebrate Cromwell.

 

Format for the event is very relaxed. Artists will share their original poetry followed by a “talk back” where the audience can ask questions.

If interested submit your poems and registration/release form by April 20, 2026, to cromwellartsalliance@gmail.com with “2026 Poetry” in the subject line. 

 

Event will take place on Saturday May 2, 2026, at 11:00 am, at Cromwell Town Hall - Senior Center Dining Room

 

Light refreshments will be served.
